WELLINGTON: Two New Zealand naval ships that transited the Taiwan Strait late last week were undertaking "routine activity" in international waters, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said.

WELLINGTON: Two New Zealand naval ships that transited the Taiwan Strait late last week were undertaking "routine activity” in international waters, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said.
The ships were sailing en route to participate in a joint exercise in the Philippines, Luxon told reporters Monday (Sept 20) in Wellington, when asked about the event. He said the navy did something similar in November last year.

惠灵顿：新西兰总理克里斯托弗·卢克森表示，上周晚些时候穿越台湾海峡的两艘新西兰海军舰艇正在国际水域进行“例行活动”。
卢克森周一（9月20日）在惠灵顿接受记者采访时表示，这些舰艇当时正前往菲律宾参加联合演习。他表示，海军去年11月也进行过类似的演习。
