AmREIT Managers Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Chong Hong Chuon said the disposal would reduce AmFIRST REIT’s gearing to about 33 per cent from 46 per cent-47 per cent, providing the REIT with a healthier balance sheet to pursue its portfolio diversification strategy.

吉隆坡：AmFIRST房地产投资信托基金（AmFIRST REIT）的单位持有人今天批准了以3.31亿令吉出售Menara AmBank的提议，为该房地产投资信托基金寻求新的收购，包括医院相关资产，铺平了道路。
AmREIT Managers Sdn Bhd 首席执行官 Chong Hong Chuon 表示，此次出售将使 AmFIRST REIT 的负债率从 46%-47% 降至约 33%，从而为该 REIT 提供更健康的资产负债表，以推行其投资组合多元化战略。
