SINGAPORE: Two Team Singapore athletes due to compete in the Asian Games have had to change their travel plans as Typhoon Dujuan barrelled towards Japan’s east coast.
In response to media queries on Sept 21, a Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) spokesperson said the unnamed athletes’ flight from Tokyo, where they had been for a pre-Games competition, to Nagoya was cancelled because of the impending typhoon.
