Moderate to heavy thundery showers expected over many areas of Singapore on Sept 22 afternoon

It's another wet afternoon in Singapore, with heavy rain expected over many areas on Tuesday (Sept 22) afternoon.

The Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) said in an advisory at 1.05pm that moderate to heavy thundery showers are expected over many areas of Singapore between 1.30pm to 3pm.

Checks of MSS' weather radar show rainclouds over the north-western, central, southern and eastern parts of Singapore.

As at 1.45pm, Singapore's national water agency PUB has not issued any flood risk alerts.

In its fortnightly weather forecast issued on Sept 16 , NEA had said localised short-duration thundery showers are expected between the late morning and afternoon over most parts of the island on most days.

Meanwhile, Singapore's 24-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) at 1pm ranged from 61 to 81, in the moderate range.

One-hour PM2.5 is in the normal band for all regions.

新加坡国家环境局 (NEA) 在 9 月 16 日发布的两周一次的天气预报中表示，预计大多数日子里，岛上大部分地区在上午晚些时候到下午之间会出现局部短时雷阵雨。

与此同时，新加坡下午 1 点的 24 小时污染物标准指数 (PSI) 介于 61 至 81 之间，处于中等水平。

所有地区的PM2.5一小时浓度均处于正常范围内。
