Calls unanswered, woman forces entry and finds fiancé dead in Melaka home

A 38-year-old woman discovered her fiancé deceased in his Simpang Ampat residence after being unable to contact him since the previous night, according to reports by Harian Metro.

Concerned by his unresponsiveness, she entered the house through a window, subsequently calling for an ambulance when she found him lifeless.

Alor Gajah district police chief Superintendent Ahmad Abu Bakar confirmed the man, who worked at a factory and lived alone, had passed away.

ALOR GAJAH, Sept 27 — A woman was left heartbroken after finding her fiancé lying lifeless in his home, having failed to reach him since last night.

The 38-year-old went to his house in Simpang Ampat around 11am today after growing anxious when her calls went unanswered, Harian Metro (HM) reported.

Alor Gajah district police chief Superintendent Ahmad Abu Bakar said she had gone to the man’s residence to look for him after being unable to contact him.

“On arriving, she entered the house through a window and found him inside the unit before calling for an ambulance. Further checks confirmed he had died,” he told HM.

The victim, who worked at a factory, is believed to have been living alone at the property.
