Thailand declares a two-day holiday in Bangkok and nearby provinces amid floods

BANGKOK (Bernama): Thailand has declared Sept 28 and 29 as special public holidays in Bangkok and three neighbouring provinces as authorities step up flood response efforts following days of heavy rain that inundated parts of the capital..

Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said the holidays would apply to Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani and Samut Prakan to ease the impact of the floods and facilitate public travel.

曼谷（马新社）：泰国宣布9月28日和29日为曼谷及其周边三个府的特别公共假日，此前连日暴雨导致首都部分地区被淹，当局正加强防洪工作。
