3 men, 1 woman arrested for fighting outside Geylang eatery

Three men and a woman were arrested after a fight broke out outside an eatery in Geylang last Wednesday (Sept 23).

The incident happened outside Dongbei Jiaozi Wang along Geylang Road at around 1am, Shin Min Daily News reported.

A video uploaded to YouTube channel Complaint Singapore shows four people pushing and pulling one another along a walkway, with one person appearing to be pinned to the ground.

Two people in red uniforms are also seen trying to break up the fight.

A restaurant employee told Shin Min that the people involved in the scuffle were not customers, adding: "I don't know what had happened."

Meanwhile, a grocery shop owner in the vicinity said he had closed his store at around 11pm and did not witness the incident.

As there are several eateries and bars in the area, he noted that drunken patrons sometimes caused trouble on weekends.

In response to AsiaOne's queries, the police said they were alerted to a fight at 386 Geylang Road at about 1am on Sept 23.

Three men, aged between 30 and 42, and a 31-year-old woman were arrested for affray.

The 31-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man were taken to hospital conscious, police said.

Police investigations are ongoing.

上周三（9月23日），芽笼一家餐馆外发生斗殴事件，三男一女被捕。

据《新明日报》报道，事件发生在凌晨1点左右，地点位于芽笼路上的东北饺子王餐厅外。

上传到 YouTube 频道 Complaint Singapore 的一段视频显示，四个人在人行道上互相推搡拉扯，其中一人似乎被按倒在地。

画面中还可以看到两名身穿红色制服的人试图制止这场斗殴。

一名餐厅员工告诉《新明日报》，参与冲突的人并非顾客，并补充说：“我不知道发生了什么事。”

与此同时，附近一家杂货店的老板表示，他大约在晚上 11 点关门，没有目睹这起事件。

他指出，由于该地区有多家餐馆和酒吧，周末时醉酒的顾客有时会惹出麻烦。

针对 AsiaOne 的询问，警方表示，他们于 9 月 23 日凌晨 1 点左右接到报警，称芽笼路 386 号发生斗殴事件。

三名年龄在 30 岁至 42 岁之间的男子和一名 31 岁的女子因扰乱公共秩序被捕。

警方称，这名31岁的女子和一名36岁的男子被送往医院时意识清醒。

警方调查仍在进行中。
