The new HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series aims to redefine innovation in the wearables space by pairing a fashion-forward design with enhanced durability and up to 21 days of battery life.

According to the International Data Corporation (IDC)’s Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker, the brand ranked first worldwide in wrist-worn device shipments for the first half of the year (1H2026), securing more than 20% of the global market share.

Building on this momentum, the new HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series aims to redefine innovation in the wearables space by pairing a fashion-forward design with proactive health intelligence, which includes the Diabetes Risk Study, professional sports tracking and up to 21 days of battery life.

Premium design, outdoor durability

Inspired by the “Gran Turismo” spirit of high performance and exploration, the series has evolved into a smartwatch that moves easily from daily wear to active pursuits.

It features three variants: the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro, HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 46mm and HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 41mm.

The HUAWEI WATCH HT 7 Pro in Green, Yellow and Black. The HUAWEI-first EasyCross Strap adds a tuck-under design for a cleaner profile and a quicker, more secure fit.

The WATCH GT 7 Pro, for example, features an aerospace-grade titanium alloy case, nano-tech ceramic bezel and sapphire glass, while its octagonal design draws on the rugged beauty of nature.

The series comes in vibrant colours to suit different personalities, with the Pro available in Green, Yellow and Black, the 46mm version in Yellow, Blue and Black and the 41mm variant in Blue, Pink, White and Grey.

The HUAWEI-first EasyCross Strap adds a tuck-under design for a cleaner profile and a quicker, more secure fit.

Additionally, triple protection – a super-hard metal coating, IP69 dust resistance and 5 ATM water resistance – allows the watches to keep up with every adventure, while up to 3,000 nits peak brightness keeps the AMOLED display clear even under strong sunlight.

The series also features the HUAWEI-exclusive Diabetes Risk Study, which collects pulse wave signals from the wrist without the use of needles and evaluates patterns based on factors including age, gender, height and weight.

Insights that go beyond tracking

The GT 7 Series also brings together various data points in a simple daily overview. The HUAWEI-first Physical Readiness Score combines information such as heart rate variability (HRV), sleep and activity data, giving users a consolidated view of selected metrics.

The series supports holistic wellness management with Emotional Wellbeing 2.0, HRV monitoring, advanced sleep tracking and women’s health features.

Through the HUAWEI Health app, users can access AI-powered wellness tools including personalised workout courses, intelligent weight management plans, AI Sleep Music and guided training programmes.

The series also features the HUAWEI-exclusive Diabetes Risk Study, initiated in collaboration with Universiti Malaya, which provides a non-invasive approach to identifying diabetes risk without using needles.

The smartwatch collects pulse wave signals from the wrist and evaluates patterns based on factors including age, gender, height and weight. After continuous wear for three to 14 days, users receive risk assessment results to encourage earlier lifestyle adjustments and health awareness.

The series even supports heart health monitoring with Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis, helping users monitor heart rhythm changes.

The GT 7 Pro takes this a step further with ECG capabilities, helping detect potential abnormalities and providing insights on heart health management. It also has Arterial Stiffness Assessment to detect vascular stiffness, helping identify early signs of vascular ageing.

An AI coach on your wrist

Built for explorers, the series pairs enhanced AI-XDR Positioning with Smart Route Reconstruction for more precise tracking, even where GPS signals are limited.

Runners, trail runners and hikers get Segment Navigation, Route Back, offline maps and GPX route import, offering greater confidence when navigating unfamiliar trails.

Users can also seamlessly sync workouts to Strava for easier activity tracking, performance analysis and sharing achievements.

For golfers, the series comes with useful features such as Plays-like Distance, which calculates more accurate yardages by considering elevation changes, and Shot Distance, which tracks and records previous shot distances automatically.

Additionally, features such as Custom Green Flagstick, Auto-Rotating Greens View and the multi-colour 18-hole scorecard provide golfers with a more intuitive and informed experience.

Cyclists benefit from Intelligent Climbing Planning, providing real-time elevation, gradient and climb progress.

Cyclists benefit from Intelligent Climbing Planning, providing real-time elevation, gradient and climb progress and Lactate Threshold Analysis, helping users better understand endurance capacity and optimise training intensity.

Skiers, on the other hand, get the company’s industry-first Turn Detection feature, providing a better understanding of skiing techniques, while featuring over 3,000 global ski resort maps with detailed navigation and trail information.

The GT 7 Pro is even designed for underwater exploration with EN13319 certification and supports freediving up to 40m with professional features including a hover timer and water type identification.

The series expands its sports ecosystem with professional racket sports tracking. For tennis, pickleball and badminton, users can analyse performance metrics including smash speed, clear speed, swing frequency and longest rally using subscription-free apps such as Tennix, PickleX and Goodshot, while padel players can make use of the Padel Point app for convenient score tracking directly from the wrist.

The series also introduces AI Workout Analysis, helping users understand their workouts by analysing performance, training load, heart rate, recovery status and historical activity, providing meaningful insights tailored to each user’s fitness journey.

Instead of simply recording exercise data, the AI-powered system provides actionable recommendations on training intensity, recovery and progression to help users train smarter.

Powered by a next-generation high-silicon stacked battery, the GT 7 Pro and 46mm variants can last up to 21 days, while the 41mm variant delivers up to 14 days.

Delivering greater energy efficiency in a slimmer, lighter design, the series offers up to 44 hours in cycling and 51 hours in trail running modes, supporting longer adventures without frequent charging.

Apart from its active-life capabilities, everyday life is covered too, with Touch ‘n Go Q payments enabled, NFC access card support for offices and residences and compatibility with both Android and iOS systems.
