Monthly Sumbangan Asas Rahmah aid is credited to recipients' MyKad cards, with households receiving RM100, and senior citizens and single individuals receiving RM50 each.

Households eligible for both Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah and eKasih receive RM200 monthly, with senior citizens getting RM150 and single individuals RM100.

SARA is usable for 15 categories of goods at over 14,700 supermarkets and stores, covering essentials like rice, eggs, bread, and school supplies.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 1 — Monthly Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) aid has begun being credited to recipients through their respective MyKad cards from today.

The Finance Ministry (MoF), in a post on X today, said RM100 in monthly SARA aid would be credited to households receiving Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR), while senior citizens and single individuals would each receive RM50 a month.

For recipients of both STR and eKasih, households will receive RM200 in monthly SARA aid, while senior citizens will receive RM150 and single individuals RM100.

MoF said 15 categories of goods have been approved for purchase using SARA, covering more than 140,000 essential items such as rice, eggs, bread, cooking oil, over-the-counter medicines, frozen food, canned food and school supplies.

SARA can be used at more than 14,700 selected supermarkets and grocery stores nationwide.
