3 hawker centres to close for cleaning second week of October

A total of three hawker centres across Singapore will close for one to three days from Oct 5 to Oct 7 for cleaning.

According to the National Environmental Agency, such cleaning is conducted regularly so that Singaporeans can enjoy affordable food in a clean and hygienic environment.

The hawker centres undergoing cleaning are Block 112 Bukit Merah Market and Food Centre, Serangoon Garden Market and Hong Lim Food and Market Centre.

Meanwhile, three hawker centres remain closed for repairs and redecoration works:

Kim Keat Palm Market and Food Centre at Block 22 Lorong 7 Toa Payoh (till Dec 13)

Block 726 Clementi West Street 2 (till Dec 27)

Changi Village Block 2 and 3 (till Oct 15)

There are a total of 123 markets and hawker centres across Singapore.

新加坡共有三家小贩中心将于10月5日至7日关闭一至三天进行清洁。

据国家环境局称，定期进行此类清洁工作是为了让新加坡人能够在干净卫生的环境中享用价格实惠的食物。

正在进行清洁的小贩中心有：第 112 座武吉美拉巴刹与熟食中心、实龙岗花园巴刹和芳林熟食与巴刹中心。

与此同时，仍有三家小贩中心因维修和重新装修工程而关闭：

金吉棕榈市场和熟食中心（大巴窑7巷22座）（至12月13日）

金文泰西街2号第726座（截止至12月27日）

樟宜村2号和3号楼（截止至10月15日）

新加坡共有123个市场和小贩中心。
