Four injured after lorry crashes into 11 vehicles in Shah Alam

Four people were injured in an accident involving a lorry and 11 other vehicles at Persiaran Mokhtar Dahari, Alam Budiman.

A man and a woman suffered serious head injuries, while two other males sustained minor injuries.

A video showed the lorry travelling against the traffic flow before crashing into vehicles.

SHAH ALAM, Oct 9 — Four people were injured in an accident involving a lorry and 11 other vehicles at Persiaran Mokhtar Dahari, Alam Budiman here today.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Ashrul Riezal Asbar said the department was informed of the crash at about 4.30pm and immediately dispatched personnel to the scene.

“The accident left a man and a woman with serious head injuries, while two other male victims sustained minor injuries,” he said in a statement.

Ashrul said all the victims were rushed to hospital for further treatment.

Earlier, a video of the incident went viral on social media, showing a lorry believed to have been travelling against the flow of traffic before crashing into several vehicles at the road junction. — Bernama

莎阿南，10月9日讯——今天，在莎阿南阿拉姆布迪曼的莫克塔尔达哈里路发生一起涉及一辆货车和另外11辆车的交通事故，造成4人受伤。

雪兰莪州消防救援局行动助理主任阿什鲁·里扎尔·阿斯巴尔表示，该部门于下午4点30分左右接到车祸通知，并立即派遣人员前往现场。

他在一份声明中说：“事故造成一名男子和一名女子头部严重受伤，另有两名男性受害者受轻伤。”

阿什鲁尔说，所有伤者都被紧急送往医院接受进一步治疗。
