President El-Sisi invites Malaysia’s King, PM to visit Egypt

President El-Sisi also expressed gratitude to Sultan Ibrahim for awarding him the Darjah Utama Seri Mahkota Negara, underscoring the depth of their diplomatic ties.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 — Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has extended an invitation to His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to visit Egypt.

The president, who is on a two-day state visit to Malaysia, also thanked Sultan Ibrahim for conferring the Darjah Utama Seri Mahkota Negara (DMN) on him at Istana Negara earlier today.

“It speaks much to the depth and strength of the relations between our two countries,” he said at a joint press conference with Anwar at the Seri Perdana Complex, Putrajaya today. — Bernama
