BANGKOK: Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, commonly known as Wat Khaek on Bangkok's Silom Road, will hold its annual Navaratri programme from October 10–22, 2026. The Vijaya Dasami procession is scheduled to leave the temple at 7.30pm on Tuesday, October 20.

The annual Vijaya Dasami procession celebrates the goddess Durga’s victory over Mahishasura. Hindu tradition recounts that Durga fought for nine days and nights before defeating Mahishasura on the tenth day.

一年一度的维贾亚·达萨米节游行是为了庆祝女神杜尔迦战胜魔王摩醯沙苏罗。印度教传统记载，杜尔迦与魔王摩醯沙苏罗激战九天九夜，最终在第十天将其击败。
