Man stands in middle of road, blocking bus in Bras Basah

A man was recently seen obstructing traffic along Bras Basah Road.

A video shared by Instagram page Complaint Singapore on Thursday (Oct 15) showed a man standing in the middle of a road, blocking a SBS Transit bus.

The post's caption indicated that the incident happened along Bras Basah Road on Oct 14 at around 2.44pm, involving bus service 56.

This follows a separate incident of a man blocking a SBS Transit bus , which led to a commotion at Sengkang on Oct 11.

According to Shin Min Daily News, the man was upset as the bus did not stop for him at the bus stop.

The bus stopped a short distance ahead at the zebra crossing to allow pedestrians to cross.

The man then walked towards the zebra crossing and positioned himself in front of the vehicle, allegedly shouting at the driver and demanding to board the bus.

The driver refused to open the doors to allow him to board, and the dispute continued for about an hour.

Police officers arrived at the scene later.

此前，10 月 11 日在盛港也发生了一起男子阻挡 SBS Transit 巴士引发骚乱的事件。

据《新明日报》报道，这名男子因为公交车没有在他下车的车站停靠而感到不满。

公交车在前方不远处的斑马线处停了下来，让行人过马路。

随后，该男子走向斑马线，站在车辆前，据称对着司机大喊大叫，要求上车。

司机拒绝开门让他上车，双方争执持续了大约一个小时。

警方随后赶到现场。
