Cambodian PM inspects former scam compounds; implicated officials face legal action

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Manet personally inspected several former online scam compounds in Koh Kong province on Saturday (Sept 5), with the government declaring that its campaign to dismantle transnational criminal networks was far from over.

The inspection focused on locations previously identified as hotspots for technology-enabled fraud, particularly the Dara Sakor development area and several other sites authorities said had been used by criminal groups to conduct cross-border scams.

金边：柬埔寨首相洪玛奈于周六（9月5日）亲自视察了戈公省的几个前网络诈骗窝点，政府宣布其打击跨国犯罪网络的行动远未结束。

此次检查的重点是此前被认定为技术诈骗热点地区的地点，特别是达拉萨科尔开发区以及当局称曾被犯罪集团用于进行跨境诈骗的其他几个地点。
