Why TuJu?: Govt must clarify selection of developer

MCA Youth acknowledges the government’s stated security concerns over the use of Waze, a popular navigation application reportedly linked to Israel, particularly in relation to safeguarding users’ personal information and movement data.

However, while the Madani government encourages Malaysians to explore alternative navigation applications, its simultaneous and seemingly aggressive promotion of the locally developed TuJu app raises questions about the government’s priorities, transparency and justification for endorsing this particular platform.
