King and Queen offer prayers for late Terengganu prince Tengku Baderul Zaman

His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah of Malaysia have expressed their condolences to Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin of Terengganu and the royal family on the passing of Sultan Mizan's younger brother, Datuk Seri Dr. Tengku Baderul Zaman.

In an official Facebook statement, they prayed for divine blessings and mercy for the deceased, hoping his sins are forgiven and he is placed among the faithful.

Tengku Baderul Zaman passed away in Kuala Lumpur at 1.20 am.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 — The King, His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, and the Queen, Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, have extended their condolences to the Sultan of Terengganu, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, and the entire Terengganu royal family on the passing of Sultan Mizan’s younger brother, Datuk Seri Dr Tengku Baderul Zaman Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah.

In a post on His Majesty’s official Facebook page, the King and Queen also prayed that the late Tengku Baderul Zaman’s soul be showered with barakah (divine blessings) and mercy, that all his sins be forgiven, and that he be placed among the faithful.

“Condolences to Al-Wathiqu Billah Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah and the entire Terengganu Royal Family on the passing of Dato’ Seri Dr Tengku Baderul Zaman Ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah.

“Prayers are raised that the soul of the late Tengku Baderul Zaman be showered with barakah and mercy, that all his sins be forgiven, and that he be placed among the faithful,” the post read.
