Two men were filmed shouting and spewing vulgarities at each other after an accident along East Coast Road in the wee hours of Sunday (Oct 25).

Footage shared by Instagram account sgfollowsall shows the agitated pair arguing by the roadside, near a bus stop.

According to the post, which was submitted by one of the men involved, the confrontation occurred after he was nearly hit by the other man's car.

The post claimed that the driver then "crashed into a parked car and started driving off" but was stopped by the man.

In the video, the driver wearing a red shirt is seen squaring up against the man, who is narrating the sequence of events. A white car with a damaged front bumper is parked nearby.

The man says in the video that the driver was drunk but later alleged in the video's caption that he appeared to be holding a vape.

He tells the driver to "sit the f*** down", and the pair get into a tiff about each other's finger-pointing.

The driver declares he will not sit down and tells the man to "call the police", before uttering a vulgar phrase.

Offended, the man appears to push the driver, who is seen sprawling on the ground with his legs in the air.

The post caption stated that the man restrained the driver until the arrival of police officers.

In response to AsiaOne's queries, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving two cars along East Coast Road at 1am on Sunday.

A 46-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations for driving without due care and attention.

No injuries were reported, and police investigations are ongoing.
