JAKARTA: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto pitched his country as Russia's gateway to Southeast Asia on Thursday (Sept 3), saying the Pacific should become a "highway between our two economies" as he pushed for closer trade, investment and transport links.

JAKARTA: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto pitched his country as Russia’s gateway to Southeast Asia on Thursday (Sept 3), saying the Pacific should become a “highway between our two economies” as he pushed for closer trade, investment and transport links.
Speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok, Prabowo urged Russian businesses to use Indonesia to tap Asean’s market of about 680 million people.

普拉博沃在符拉迪沃斯托克举行的东方经济论坛（EEF）上发表讲话时，敦促俄罗斯企业利用印度尼西亚开拓东盟约 6.8 亿人口的市场。
