Gamuda wins RM2.54bil Sydney Metro West station contract

KUALA LUMPUR: Gamuda Bhd has secured an A$880mil (RM2.54bil) contract as part of a consortium to design and build the future Parramatta metro station under the Sydney Metro West project in Australia.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Gamuda said Sydney Metro awarded the Parramatta Integrated Station Development project to the Riverside Link Consortium, comprising its wholly-owned Australian units Gamuda Engineering Pty Ltd and Gamuda (Australia) Pty Ltd, together with MTR Corporation (Australia) Pty Ltd.
