Sabah man bites ex-girlfriend and threatens to kill her, gets RM5,800 fine

Mohd Aideed Husein, a 35-year-old man, was fined RM5,800 after pleading guilty to charges of assaulting his ex-girlfriend and threatening to kill her.

The penalties, issued by Magistrates Dzul Elmy Yunus and Marilyn Kelvin, included fines for causing hurt and issuing threats, under Sections 323 and 506 of the Penal Code, respectively.

The incident occurred on September 15, when a quarrel led to Mohd Aideed threatening and injuring the victim.

The legal proceedings were overseen by Deputy Public Prosecutor Akaash Singh.

KOTA KINABALU, Sept 23 — A 35-year-old man was fined RM5,800 after pleading guilty to hurting his ex-girlfriend and threatening to kill her.

Mohd Aideed Husein pleaded guilty before two Magistrates, Dzul Elmy Yunus and Marilyn Kelvin, to separate charges over the incident involving the 30-year-old woman on Sept 15.

Before Dzul Elmy, he was fined RM1,800, in default six months’ jail, under Section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt to the woman outside a shop at Lorong Suria Inanam 1.

Before Marilyn, he was fined RM4,000, in default nine months’ jail, under Section 506 of the Penal Code for threatening to kill the victim at the same place and on the same day.

The court heard that the couple had quarrelled inside a car before Mohd Aideed threatened to kill her if she ended their relationship, and subsequently hit and bit her right arm.

莫哈末·艾迪德·侯赛因在两名地方法官祖尔·埃尔米·尤努斯和玛丽莲·凯尔文面前认罪，承认了与9月15日涉及一名30岁女子的事件有关的两项指控。

在 Dzul Elmy 之前，他因在 Lorong Suria Inanam 1 的一家商店外故意伤害一名女子，违反了刑法第 323 条，被罚款 1,800 令吉，若不缴纳罚款则需入狱六个月。

在玛丽莲之前，他曾因在同一地点、同一天威胁杀害受害者，违反刑法第 506 条，被罚款 4000 令吉，若不缴纳罚款则需入狱九个月。

法庭获悉，这对情侣在车内发生争吵，之后莫哈末·艾迪德威胁说，如果她结束这段关系，他就会杀了她，随后还打了她并咬了她的右臂。
