Five employees arrested for attempted murder after stabbing boss in Tsukuba

IBARAKI (TR) – Police in Tsukuba City have arrested five men on suspicion of attempted murder after they allegedly stabbed their boss multiple times, leaving him in a coma, reports TV Asahi (Sep. 23).

The suspects, which include scaffolding workers Kengo Maruyama, 29, and Teru Shimizu, 22, are accused of conspiring to kill a company executive early Tuesday. All five men were employed by the victim’s construction company.

According to police, the group attacked the victim, a man in his 20s, with a knife-like object. He sustained multiple severe stab wounds to his back and abdomen, with some strikes penetrating deep enough to reach his lungs.

Despite his massive injuries, the victim managed to call emergency services himself before being rushed to a hospital. He remains in critical condition and is currently unconscious.

Police are now investigating the motive behind the brutal attack and are looking into whether there was any ongoing workplace trouble between the executive and his employees.

茨城（TR）——据朝日电视台（9月23日）报道，筑波市警方逮捕了五名涉嫌谋杀未遂的男子，他们被指控多次刺伤其老板，导致其昏迷。

包括29岁的脚手架工人丸山健吾和22岁的清水照在内的五名嫌疑人被控于周二凌晨合谋杀害一家公司高管。这五人均受雇于受害者的建筑公司。

据警方称，这伙人用类似刀具的物体袭击了受害者，受害者是一名20多岁的男子。他背部和腹部有多处严重的刀伤，其中一些伤口很深，甚至伤及肺部。

尽管伤势严重，受害者在被紧急送往医院前仍设法自行拨打了急救电话。他目前情况危急，仍处于昏迷状态。

警方目前正在调查这起残忍袭击的动机，并正在调查该高管与其员工之间是否存在任何持续的工作场所纠纷。
