Van impaled by guardrail in Kuching crash, passenger injured

A passenger van collided with a roadside guardrail at a traffic light junction in Bandar Baru Samariang, Kuching, at approximately 7am on September 26.

The accident resulted in the guardrail piercing through the vehicle.

One female passenger was injured and received initial medical assistance from paramedics at the scene before being transported to Sarawak General Hospital for further treatment.

KUCHING, Sept 26 — A passenger van was impaled by a roadside guardrail after crashing at a traffic light junction in Bandar Baru Samariang this morning.

The van is believed to have lost control before crashing into the roadside barrier, causing the guardrail to pierce through the vehicle.

The van was carrying one female passenger at the time.
