Malaysian motorcyclist injured in 3-vehicle accident along BKE towards Woodlands Checkpoint

A 34-year-old male Malaysian motorcyclist was injured in a three-vehicle accident along the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) on Saturday (Sept 26) morning.

The accident, involving two cars and a Malaysia-registered motorcycle, took place at about 11.50am along BKE towards Woodlands Checkpoint.

A video of the accident posted on social media shows the the motorcyclist lying face-down along the road as other motorists stop to render assistance.

His motorcycle is seen stopped across two lanes just behind a white car, which has damages to its rear bumper and fender.

Debris can be seen strew along the rightmost lane behind the said car.

The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force told AsiaOne that the 34-year-old motorcyclist was taken conscious to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

A 53-year-old male car driver is assisting with ongoing police investigations.

可以看到他的摩托车横跨两条车道停在一辆白色汽车后面，这辆白色汽车的后保险杠和挡泥板有损坏。

可以看到，该车辆后方最右侧车道上散落着碎片。

警方和新加坡民防部队告诉AsiaOne，这名34岁的摩托车骑手被送往邱德拔医院时意识清醒。

一名53岁的男性汽车司机正在协助警方进行调查。
