Thundery showers with gusty wind over many parts of Singapore till afternoon of Sept 27

Heavy rain is expected over many areas of Singapore on Sunday (Sept 27) morning.

In a heavy rain warning issued at 9.43am, the Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) said that moderate to heavy thundery showers with gusty wind are expected over many parts of Singapore between 11am to 12.30pm.

Checks on the MSS's weather radar show rain clouds off the eastern, southern and western regions of Singapore.

Singapore's national water agency, PUB, has announced on its Telegram channel that there is a risk of flash floods at the following areas:

Junction of Craig Road and Tanjong Pagar Road (till 12.05pm)

East Coast Park Service Road (till 12.11pm)

Junction of Kg Bahru Road and Spooner Road (till 12.22pm)

In its daily haze situation update on Saturday evening , the National Environment Agency (NEA) had said that showers are forecast over Singapore and parts of the surrounding region today.

Singapore woke up to unhealthy air quality again on Sunday morning with three regions in the unhealthy range.

By 10am, 24-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) ranges from 91 to 131 — in the moderate to unhealthy range — with central (131), eastern (118) and western (106) Singapore recording unhealthy readings.

Meanwhile, one-hour PM2.5 is in the elevated band for the central (72) and eastern (58) regions.

新加坡国家环境局（NEA）在周六晚间发布的每日雾霾情况更新中表示，预计今天新加坡及周边地区部分地区将有阵雨。

周日早晨，新加坡空气质量再次恶化，三个地区的空气质量达到不健康水平。

截至上午 10 点，24 小时污染物标准指数 (PSI) 介于 91 至 131 之间——处于中等至不健康范围内——其中新加坡中部 (131)、东部 (118) 和西部 (106) 的读数均不健康。

与此同时，中部地区（72）和东部地区（58）的一小时 PM2.5 浓度处于较高水平。
