Former Negeri Sembilan State Exco members, including Datuk Faizal Ramli and Mohd Fairuz Mohd Isa, arrived at MAINS Tower for police questioning amid a state crisis.
Inspector-General of Police stated the Exco members were summoned due to police reports concerning an administrative and royal institution crisis.
Police will also interview witnesses and relevant individuals to aid the ongoing investigation.
SEREMBAN, Sept 28 — Several former Negeri Sembilan State Executive Council (Exco) members have arrived at the Negeri Sembilan Islamic Religious Council (MAINS) Tower here to have their statements recorded by a Bukit Aman team, following the current crisis in the state.
Among the former Exco members are Datuk Faizal Ramli, Mohd Fairuz Mohd Isa, Datuk Mustapha Nagoor, Siti Nur Umaira binti Hasim, Suhaimizan Bizar, and Datuk Razali Abu Samah; they arrived separately starting at 10am today.
It is understood that police personnel and officers have also arrived at the tower to record the statements of the former Exco members.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohd Khalid Ismail was reported yesterday as saying that the police had summoned the former Negeri Sembilan Exco members to record their statements to assist in the investigation into the administrative and royal institution crisis, following several police reports lodged regarding the matter.
In addition to the former Exco members, the police will also record statements from several witnesses and other relevant individuals to complete the investigation. — Bernama
