FUKUOKA (TR) – A court here has handed a 46-year-old company executive a prison term for a random, knifepoint sexual assault in Fukuoka City earlier this year.

During the proceedings at the Fukuoka District Court, Kenji Imamura admitted to the charges, blaming his violent actions on the influence of methamphetamine, reports RKB Mainichi Broadcasting (Sep. 27).

Imamura was accused of grabbing a woman in her 20s from behind as she walked along a sidewalk in Nishi Ward at around 5:00 a.m. on February 22. Taking advantage of the deserted streets during the middle of a three-day weekend, Imamura allegedly brandished a knife and threatened the victim, warning her, “If you look at my face, I’ll stab you.”

He then forced the terrified woman into a nearby monthly parking lot. There, he used the blade to cut her bra straps and clothes, rendering her completely paralyzed by fear. Imamura then sexually assaulted the unresisting victim during a horrifying ordeal that lasted for approximately 40 minutes.

On September 16, presiding judge Koji Ohashi described the incident as a “despicable and malicious crime that trampled upon the victim’s dignity.”

Stating that “a lengthy term of actual imprisonment is unavoidable,” the court sentenced Imamura to six years in prison.

“I don’t remember if I took her underwear”

The crime came to light when the victim contacted police, reporting, “I was grabbed and my underwear was stolen.” Investigators quickly zeroed in on Imamura after analyzing security camera footage from the area. Police confirmed the two had no prior connection, describing the incident as an entirely random street attack.

During police questioning following his arrest, Imamura was vague about certain details but admitted to the core allegations, saying he was under the influence of kakuseizai (methamphetamine).

“I don’t remember if I took her underwear,” Imamura told investigators. “As for the sexual intercourse, I had lost my reason due to the influence of drugs, but I think I did it.”

Imamura was subsequently indicted for non-consensual sexual intercourse and violations of the Stimulants Control Law for both use and possession.

During his ongoing trial, Imamura and his defense team have not disputed the charges or the facts of the case. The court proceedings are now focused solely on determining the severity of his sentence.

据 RKB 每日放送（9 月 27 日）报道，在福冈地方法院的庭审中，今村健二承认了指控，并将自己的暴力行为归咎于甲基苯丙胺的影响。

今村被指控于2月22日凌晨5点左右在西区人行道上从背后抓住一名20多岁的女子。趁着三天小长假期间街道空无一人，今村据称挥舞着一把刀威胁受害者，并警告她说：“如果你看我的脸，我就捅死你。”

随后，他强迫这名惊恐万分的女子进入附近的月租停车场。在那里，他用刀割断了她的胸罩肩带和衣服，使她因恐惧而完全动弹不得。之后，今村对这名毫无反抗之力的受害者进行了长达约40分钟的性侵犯，整个过程令人毛骨悚然。

9 月 16 日，主审法官大桥浩二将该事件描述为“卑鄙恶毒的犯罪行为，践踏了受害者的尊严”。

法院表示“长期监禁不可避免”，判处今村六年有期徒刑。

受害者报警称“我被人抓住，内裤被偷了”，案件由此曝光。调查人员分析了事发区域的监控录像后，迅速锁定了嫌疑人今村。警方证实两人此前并无交集，并将此案定性为一起完全随机的街头袭击。

在被捕后接受警方讯问时，今村对某些细节含糊其辞，但承认了核心指控，称自己当时受到了甲基苯丙胺（冰毒）的影响。

“我不记得我是否拿走了她的内衣，”今村告诉调查人员。“至于性交，我当时因为吸毒失去了理智，但我认为我做了。”

随后，今村因非自愿性交以及违反兴奋剂管制法（包括使用和持有）而被起诉。

在审判过程中，今村及其辩护团队并未对指控或案件事实提出异议。目前，法庭审理的重点完全在于确定其刑罚的轻重。
