A Scoot flight from Macau to Singapore experienced a delay on September 27 after a disruptive passenger was escorted off the plane by local authorities at Macau International Airport.

The aircraft, flight TR905, subsequently departed at 8:46 PM local time after a two-hour delay, while other passengers remained onboard and were provided with refreshments.

Video footage of the incident was shared on the Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu.

Scoot has not disclosed details of the passenger's behavior, and Macau police have yet to comment on the situation.

SINGAPORE, Oct 1 — A Scoot flight from Macau to Singapore was delayed last week after a passenger was escorted off the aircraft for disruptive behaviour.

The incident took place on September 27 aboard flight TR905, which was preparing to depart Macau International Airport.

“Scoot confirms that a passenger was escorted off the aircraft before departure and handed over to the local authorities,” The Straits Times reported.

It added that flight later departed at 8.46pm local time and all other passengers remained onboard and were served refreshments.

Video footage of the removal was posted on Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu on September 28, showing a woman accompanied by uniformed officers and Scoot crew as she exited the plane.

Applause from fellow travellers could be heard in the background. The incident was believed to have caused a two‑hour delay.

Scoot did not disclose details of the passenger’s behaviour, while Macau police have yet to issue a statement.
