SINGAPORE – People often talk about how fathers shape their children’s lives, but what if children also reshape their dads, more specifically their brains?

Darby Saxbe, a professor of psychology at the University of Southern California, has found that scans of first-time fathers’ brains show a reduction in grey matter volume within the first year after their babies are born.
