PETALING JAYA, Oct 4 — Putrajaya revved to life today as 100 Lamborghinis roared out of IOI City Mall in a convoy bound for Sepang, as part of the Citrawarna Speed Festival 2026.

The “Konvoi Eksklusif Lamborghini 2026”, organised with Lamborghini Owners Malaysia, saw the supercars flagged off at noon before rolling into the Sepang International Circuit for an open air showcase that drew motorsport fans, lifestyle seekers and curious onlookers.

Political secretary to the Finance Minister Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim and Tourism Ministry secretary general Shaharuddin Abu Sohot officiated the flag off, saying the event reflected government support for private sector efforts to position Malaysia as a luxury lifestyle and automotive tourism hub.

Held under the themes “Art, Culture, Speed, Together” and “Malaysia Moves Together”, the festival blended motoring culture with entertainment and tourism promotion.

Tourism Malaysia noted the event comes as international arrivals hit 28.8 million between January and August 2026, up 1.8 per cent from the same period last year, with the Visit Malaysia 2026 2027 campaign aiming to drive further demand.
