SERDANG, Sept 5 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to officiate the closing ceremony of the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agro-Tourism Exhibition (MAHA 2026) at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park (MAEPS), here tomorrow.
Based on the programme, Anwar is scheduled to arrive at 10.30 am before delivering the Closing Address at Hall D2 and performing the Closing Gimmick of MAHA 2026.
The programme then continued with the Presentation of Agro Awards and the Prime Minister’s visit to the exhibition site before the ceremony ended at 12 noon.
Also scheduled to be present are the two Deputy Prime Ministers and Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu.
The 14th edition of MAHA is taking place for 10 days from August 28 to September 6.
MAHA is the main platform for the country’s agricultural sector that brings together industry players, government agencies, entrepreneurs, as well as research and higher education institutions to highlight innovation, technology and business opportunities in the agro-food sector. — Bernama
