Two men were taken to the hospital after a fight broke out between them at a coffee shop in Woodlands on Saturday (Oct 3).
The police told AsiaOne they were alerted to the case at Block 574 Woodlands Drive 16 at about 1.35pm.
Both men, aged 55 and 64, were arrested for affray. They were conscious when taken to hospital.
According to Shin Min Daily News, the men are known to each other and had feuded over a Facebook post two years ago.
When they saw each other again on Saturday, they ended up fighting, reported the Chinese paper.
The coffee shop is located within the Woodlands Glen project.
When a Shin Min reporter visited its premises on Saturday afternoon, a hawker said many diners were having lunch when the brawl occurred.
The hawker, who sells rojak, said a male diner had helped to subdue one of the fighting men.
"I heard one of them brought a baseball bat to attack the other, but I'm unsure who brought it."
The reporter also observed that police officers had cordoned off an area of the coffee shop for investigations.
A chair had toppled over, and a long object wrapped in a black cloth was seen next to an exhibit marker.
Police investigations are ongoing.
