A 44-year-old nurse in Kampung Padang Lepai, Kota Bharu, was seriously injured after allegedly being stabbed six times by her 47-year-old husband.
The incident occurred at around 8.30 PM, and the husband has been arrested and remanded for seven days to assist with the investigation.
The case is being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing grievous hurt with a dangerous weapon.
The victim is receiving treatment at Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II.

The woman suffered stab wounds to her body and neck and is receiving treatment at Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II, Harian Metro reported today.
The incident occurred at about 8.30pm, with police receiving a report the same night.
Kota Bharu district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Azmir Damiri confirmed the incident and said the victim’s 47-year-old husband was arrested after he surrendered to police.
“Police have yet to identify the motive for the incident,” he was quoted as saying.
He added that the suspect had been remanded for seven days from yesterday to assist investigations.
Azmir said the case is being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing grievous hurt using a dangerous weapon.
Police also seized a knife from the suspect, according to Harian Metro .
