Penang to get first winter charter flight from Poland in November

The Warsaw-Penang service will run until March 25, 2027, with one flight a week departing from Warsaw Chopin Airport and arriving at Penang International Airport.

Penang will receive its first-ever winter charter flight from Poland on Nov 5, marking a significant step in the state’s efforts to diversify its international tourism source markets and gain a foothold in the wider European market.

State Tourism and Creative Economy Committee chairman Wong Hon Wai said the Warsaw-Penang winter charter service, operated by a travel agency and flown by LOT Polish Airlines, will run until March 25, 2027, with approximately one flight a week departing from Warsaw Chopin Airport every Thursday and arriving at Penang International Airport.
