Oct 21 (Reuters) - OpenAI will make its frontier artificial intelligence models and Codex coding agent available through Google Cloud in the coming weeks, the companies said on Wednesday, deepening ties between two rivals and underscoring how major cloud providers are becoming key distributors of top AI models.
The partnership will bringOpenAI's latest models such as GPT-6 Astra to Google Cloud's Model Garden. It will allow customers to buy them through Google Cloud Marketplace and use existing cloud spending commitments for the purchases, according to a company blog post, asOpenAI tries to sell its models to more enterprise customers.
