A person died after an accident involving a trailer truck along Kranji Expressway (KJE) on Tuesday (Oct 27) morning.

In response to AsiaOne's queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that it was alerted to a road traffic accident along KJE towards the Bukit Timah Expressway near Woodlands exit at about 7:20am.

A person was pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic.

In a video of the accident posted by TikTok user QX on Tuesday, a blue police tent can be seen pitched next to a blue trailer truck and surrounded by multiple traffic cones.

Underneath the truck’s flatbed trailer, a motorcycle can also be seen lying on its side.

The video shows several SCDF personnel and Land Transport Authority traffic marshals on site.

A red car can be seen parked in front of the truck, with an ambulance and an SCDF firetruck further down the road.

AsiaOne has reached out to the police for more information.
