The van was carrying trainee nurses from Sultan Azlan Shah Training Institute to Buntong Health Clinic.

The 7.25am accident involved 11 people, and police are investigating the cause.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 23 — Nine people were injured when a Health Ministry van overturned and landed on its driver’s side in an accident along Jalan Sultan Iskandar near Little India in Ipoh this morning.

The van was carrying trainee nurses from the Health Ministry’s Sultan Azlan Shah Training Institute in Tanjung Rambutan, according to a report by the New Straits Times .

“All of them were travelling from the institute to the Buntong Health Clinic for their practical session,” said district police chief Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Najib Hamzah.

He added that the 7.25am accident involved 11 people, including the driver.

Najib said police were investigating the cause of the accident.

据《新海峡时报》报道，这辆面包车载着来自卫生部苏丹阿兹兰沙培训学院（位于丹绒拉姆布丹）的实习护士。

“他们当时正从学院前往文冬卫生诊所参加实践课程，”地区警区主任助理警监穆罕默德·纳吉布·哈姆扎说。

他还补充说，早上 7 点 25 分发生的这起事故涉及 11 人，包括司机。

纳吉布表示，警方正在调查事故原因。
