Central Forwarding Agency marks 70th Anniversary with RM108,000 donation to St John Ambulance Malaysia

CENTRAL Forwarding Agency Sdn Bhd (CFA) marked its 70th anniversary with a gala dinner at Wyndham Acmar Klang on Sept 20, bringing together approximately 650 employees, management, business partners and industry representatives to commemorate seven decades of the company's journey.

A key highlight of the celebration was CFA’s contribution of RM108,000 to Yayasan St John Ambulance Malaysia – Kawasan Pantai Selangor (SJAM-KPS Foundation), towards the purchase of two dialysis machines to support patients requiring ongoing dialysis treatment.

CFA executive director Jessica Lim said the anniversary was an opportunity to reflect on the relationships and shared experiences that had shaped the company over the decades.

“70 years is not just a number; it represents the trust, friendship, shared challenges and achievements accumulated over decades, as well as our commitment to growing together,” she said.

CFA was founded in 1956 by the late Lim Hooi Kuang and the late Goh Thiam Hee. In her speech, Lim acknowledged the contribution of the founding families and successive generations, as well as the employees who had played a part in the company’s development.

As part of the celebrations, CFA’s directors also personally contributed RM50,000 towards cash prizes for an employee lucky draw, with 35 employees receiving prizes.

Mdm Chung, the wife of the late Goh Thiam Hee cuts the cake to mark CFA’s 70th anniversary.CFA was founded by her late husband and the late Lim Hooi Kuang in 1956.

The initiative gave employees an opportunity to share in the anniversary celebrations and recognise their contribution to the company’s journey over the years.

Lim also expressed appreciation to customers, business partners, suppliers, industry associations and other stakeholders for their continued support.

“Logistics is never a business where one can succeed by fighting alone. We are grateful to all our stakeholders, business partners, relevant authorities, industry friends, suppliers and service providers for their ongoing support and walking alongside us,” she said.

Among those attending were Federation of Malaysian Freight Forwarders president Datuk Tony Chia Han Teun and Selangor Freight Forwarders and Logistics Association president Chua Seng Wah.

The company said it would continue to build on its long-standing relationships with employees, customers and business partners as it moves into its next chapter.

CENTRAL Forwarding Agency Sdn Bhd (CFA) 于 9 月 20 日在 Wyndham Acmar Klang 举办盛大晚宴，庆祝公司成立 70 周年。约 650 名员工、管理层、商业伙伴和行业代表齐聚一堂，共同纪念公司七十年的发展历程。

庆祝活动的一大亮点是 CFA 向马来西亚圣约翰救伤队雪兰莪海岸地区基金会 (SJAM-KPS 基金会) 捐赠了 108,000 令吉，用于购买两台透析机，以支持需要持续透析治疗的患者。

CFA执行董事Jessica Lim表示，周年纪念是一个反思过去几十年来塑造公司的各种关系和共同经历的机会。

“70年不仅仅是一个数字；它代表着几十年来积累的信任、友谊、共同的挑战和成就，以及我们共同成长的承诺，”她说。

CFA由已故的林慧光和吴添喜于1956年创立。林慧光在致辞中感谢了创始家族及其后代的贡献，以及为公司发展做出贡献的员工。

作为庆祝活动的一部分，CFA 的董事们还个人捐赠了 50,000 马币作为员工幸运抽奖的现金奖励，共有 35 名员工获得了奖品。

已故吴添喜的遗孀钟女士切蛋糕庆祝CFA成立70周年。CFA由她已故的丈夫吴添喜和已故的林辉光于1956年创立。
