According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the typhoon’s central pressure was 1,000 hectopascals and it had a maximum instantaneous wind speed of 108 kph as of noon Friday.

东京：台风“苏里加”（又称第26号台风）周五在菲律宾东部海域向西北偏西方向移动，朝冲绳岛和九州地区附近海域逼近。
