Border agency officer found dead at Nilai quarters laid to rest in Kelantan

The remains of AKPS officer Norhazwani Ibrahim, found dead at KLIA quarters, were laid to rest at Tanjong Muslim Cemetery in Pengkalan Kubor.

Her elder brother, Mohd Hazwan, said their last meeting is now a cherished memory, and he learned of her death from her husband.

Police received information about the alleged murder by her husband at 8.30 pm, and her two children are now cared for by their maternal aunt.

Her funeral was attended by family members, relatives and friends.

Her remains arrived at her family home in Kampung Banjir, Telaga Lanas here, at 1.10am, where funeral prayers were performed before she was laid to rest.

Her elder brother, Mohd Hazwan, 38, said their meeting on the morning of the incident was now a cherished final memory, as he had not expected to lose his sister.

He said he had stayed overnight at her home after completing some errands in Bangi before returning to Kelantan.

“That morning, everything seemed normal. I never expected this to happen, which makes it all the more heartbreaking,” he told reporters at his home early today.

He learnt of her death through a phone call from her husband, who used her mobile phone to contact him.

Accepting her death as Allah SWT’s will, Mohd Hazwan thanked AKPS, the Royal Malaysian Customs Department and the police for their assistance in arranging the funeral, from Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital in Seremban to her final resting place in her hometown.

Norhazwani’s death has also affected her two children, aged five and six, who are being cared for by their maternal aunt in the village.

Mohd Hazwan said Norhazwani worked hard to provide for her children, visited them whenever her shift schedule allowed and had returned to her hometown the previous week for a matter at the Syariah Court on October 12.

Last Thursday, Norhazwani was found dead at the KLIA quarters in Nilai, allegedly killed by her husband.

莫哈末·哈兹万接受她的离世是真主阿拉的旨意，并感谢AKPS、马来西亚皇家海关和警方协助安排葬礼，从芙蓉的端姑嘉法医院到她家乡的最终安息地。

Norhazwani 的去世也影响了她的两个孩子，一个五岁，一个六岁，他们目前由村里的姨妈照顾。

莫哈末·哈兹万表示，诺哈兹瓦尼努力工作养家糊口，只要轮班时间允许就会去看望他们，并且上周回到了家乡，因为10月12日要在伊斯兰教法庭处理一个案件。
